Read this entire book during maths, and fucking loved it. I already knew what happened due to watching the show, and still adored it.
Nick and Charlie’s relationship is so sweet, and I loved nicks realisation to knowing who he was. I do however, think it was fast paced. Like, 20 mins later they’re already kissing??
And WHERE WAS ELLE?? LIKE, if they were friends and she moved schools, why they ain’t talking bout her? I know the show is different to the book, but I hardly saw any of Tara or Elle or i don’t remember her name the girl who is dating Tara. I DIDNT SWE THEM.
And where was Tao’s storyline? I saw him 2 times throughout the whole book? I needed more for gods sake, him bullying Harry was one of my favourite things about the ahow. I need shitty comebacks, SO WHERE WERE THEY?
It is a really nicely written storyline however, and does show the hardships of coming out at school, or being in an lgbtq+ romance/relationship. I just wish the whole book wasn’t central on nick and Charlie.
Yes the whole book is about their romance, but who doesn’t cheer on the side characters?
