oooof this moved me. alexis hall has proven to be a hit or miss for me, especially with the previous stories in this universe, but goddamn
this was emotional and heartfelt and breathtaking!!! the characters were so complex and tragic and beautiful for a shorter story and i very much felt their chemistry and love even for such a whirlwind romance. they each grew so much as characters separately and together. and their dialogue alone had me crying several times from how beautiful and complex it was. i wish this had been one of the longer books !! it very much gave sad gay art movie vibes but with a HEA and character growth that we never get in those movies! can’t wait o make will read this one
