The Last Woman by Jacqueline Druga
4.0
The Last Woman
Last Woman #1
Post-apocalyptic
Jacqueline Druga
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I've read a few books by Jacqueline Druga now and I usually like them. This book did not disappoint.
The pacing was good and I finished reading in a few hours. There wasn't a lot of world building because it wasn't needed but I did like how the author managed to create a clear picture of choas, disaster and fear.
I liked how each of the characters were introduced slowly. They were all likeable and relatable.
The dialogue was a little confusing at times because it would seem like the same person was talking, when it was actually another character replying and so I found myself re-reading certain parts to double check.
The ending was a cliffhanger but it was left in a good place and made me want to read the next book immediately.
I look forward to learning more about the outbreak and the survivors.
