Okay damn I LOVED this so much more than I expected to! The audiobook is AMAZING! Like absolutely wonderful. When I started reading this (completely and only motivated by the fact that lin-Manuel Miranda is the narrator) I didn’t have high expectations. I was telling myself I was getting over ya-contemporary. Lol what a dumbass I was. It’s the John Green type deep relatable quotes mixed with a dramatic yearning gay romance.
I really loved the characters and the awkwardness of everything was so relatable! “They wanted to get to know me but I just didn’t want to be known” and “I wish I could be like the air, so that everyone would need me but no one would see me.”
I might up this to five stars eventually. I already want to listen to it again!
