Even though I still think the Order of the Phoenix is my favorite so far, this one was very good! The Half-Blood Prince benefits from its mysterious setting and dark tone, to me it served more as a prologue to the last book, as well as maintaining some juvenile sequences, similar to those we see in the Goblet of Fire (which I didn't appreciate as much). This is also the best Dumbledore book and for those who want to learn more about Voldemort's past, it's fantastic. What I liked the most about this book was that it had the appropriate details and development that allowed me to understand much better the themes the movie tried to convey, as well as the motivation of some characters.

Looking forward to the final chapter!
