The plot was cute, if not trite. Everything works out better than okay in the end.
I didn't understand the skull and crossbones...mixed in with the pink princess theme??
The writing wasn't great. Many things didn't come off as plausible. Other things were clearly obvious, but not discovered by the characters until the end of the book, when things are tied up into a nice little bow.
The author wrote in her native German and it was translated into English.
