This book was just wow. You read it and you don’t like anyone (at least I didn’t) I think the point was to show us the lengths humans are willing to go for revenge and it did.
Reading Moriguchi talk about everything at the end was kind of eerie. I understand where she is coming from, these two kids killed her child and were most likely going to have zero actual consequences. But it seemed like she was so disconnected from the harm to other people she caused by her actions. She talked about it as if it were an inevitability instead of an active choice she made.
