I loved these thoughtful essays about dealing with the unpredictability of life. Many of the essays are about grappling with the instinct to try to protect everything you care about in a fruitless attempt avoid loss, while also knowing that you need to let go. And I share the author’s wish that more people in the world cared about their neighbors and their communities in a way that could prevent some tragedies.
Well written and thought provoking. I’ll put other books by this author on my TBR.
