The LEGO Story: How a Little Toy Sparked the World's Imagination by Jens Andersen

informative slow-paced

3.0

This is a comprehensive factual history, which is interesting in its own right, but I did find the lack of narrative beats made this a bit of a slog. The pre-war history wasn't super interesting to me either. My highlights were the commentary on management visions and decisions from the 1950s onwards. While it's impossible to cover everything, I would have liked the book to cover more about the design decisions around Lego itself, and the successes and failures of different ranges, but maybe that's another whole book.
