Single by K.L. Slater

5.0

K L Slater is a master of the psychological thriller genre and Single is yet another example of this. I read this book in just a few hours, not ready to put it down and determined to work out how it would end. Every scenario I came up with was wrong, and to me that is a sign of a great story. This one was so twisty and believable - fantastic. If you have not read anything by Slater before what are you waiting for? Seriously, you will not regret it.

Darcy is a single mum, having lost her husband 4 years earlier. She has 2 boys and would do anything for them. One afternoon at the park one of her boys falls from the play equipment and George comes to the rescue. Gerorge is a doctor and also a single parent. The pair start dating and soon Darcy is moving in with George. Then the mystery parcelas ans letters start coming and George admits that his ex girlfriend is a bit unstable and is stalking him. But things are not adding up and Darcy begins to wonder who she can trust. When her life and that of her boy she is in danger she has to trust her gut.
