I was so excited for Ruth Ware’s newest release and started reading it as soon as it came out last week, but I ended up spending the first half of the book waiting for it to get better and the second half of the book waiting for it to end. Though, to be fair, this book had a lot of cybercrime-y/ coding stuff in it that I am just not really super into to begin with, so it’s possible this one was just never meant to be a favorite of mine. I’ve also been on a BIG thriller streak lately (as usual) so I also just might be kind of worn out on the genre too.
