I just couldn’t get into the characters. at first I found jax funny - but that lasted about 50 or so pages. I ended up not liking any of them and I found their mission to be… interesting. I dont know if it’s just me getting it wrong, but how the one race was explained and how the Jax had the thought of ‘why are we judged for the actions of our ancestors’ (will put full quote later, currently does not have book in hand) did not sit well with me and kind of makes me wonder what the authors thoughts on racism. Again - could just be me.
