John Green is such an engaging narrator. I cried at many points during the book out of frustration and empathy for our broken global health systems. Favor didn’t need to die. The millions of people who die every year due to TB don’t need to die. It should not take a white man writing about this for people to care about how a curable disease affects primarily a non-white population.
