I really wanted to like this bcs this could’ve been really sweet if put back into the editing oven for a little bit longer. It’s not bad, the romance and character development is just too hasty for me to feel invested. I’m by no means a slow burn connoisseur but especially the initial moving in & getting to know one another needed some more padding.
As people already stated, it’s not quite clear why the characters feel attracted to each other & I’d like to add that the point whereshe initially gets physical with Victor while simultaneously starting a seemingly emotionally intense relationship with his ex would’ve needed some more communication. I’m just not buying that he has no emotional needs worth talking about, especially giving the living situation & both him and Audrey unwilling to talk about their history up to this point. And I’m not even talking about jealousy but just the logistics of it? Unless he’s the most chill and experienced relationship anarchist of his time lol.
