Girl in Love by Caisey Quinn

This was so bittersweet in so many ways. One because we were saying goodbye to everyone and I've really come to care for a lot of these characters. We also see Kylie grow up and let go of a lot of pain that was holding her back. It's easy to paint Trace as the bad guy in their relationship, but Kylie isn't innocent either. And we see them work through a lot in this book. Not just with themselves (although there is plenty of angst there), but with their families as well.

It felt like a true ending. I was happy that everyone got their happily ever afters, a little upset that not everyone got their justice (but who really does?), and sad that we were saying goodbye. Caisey Quinn has this way of playing on all your emotions, but not overwhelmingly. Poignant. Poignant is the word I'm looking for!

And that epilogue! Gah! I love when epilogues are done right. It was so cute! So don't worry Trylie fans! You'll be pleased with how things end!
