I am hate reading this series at this point in the hope that something progresses. Whilst lots of fights happen nothing ever really evolves. I feel that Jane needs to have a number of conversations with various people in her life and just doesn't.
Also, v. bored of Jane equating being a girly girl with being lesser than she is. And her strange and weird obsession with no-one being able to swear around her. She is perfectly happy with torture, violence, forgiving forced feeding, but god forbid you swear. Girl needs to get her priorities in order.
