(Spoilers for fourth flame in review and not covered. Spoilers for Iron Flame are below but is covered.) I’m not sure if I liked iron flame or fourth wing more!! Iron Flame is great. The stakes have been raised, the battles bigger. The dragons are always my favourite and the second instalment did not disappoint. Tairn and Andara are my favourite characters so I’m glad they are tied to Violet and so they (most likely) won’t die. I found the romance just as good in this one as the first, if not better.
it ends on a cliffhanger but not one that is halfway through a battle or anything like that. I feel like the cliffhanger is okay to live with until the next one comes out. More detailed spoilers to follow.
im very glad all of the squad survived but still reading Brennan’s, Mira’s and Violet’s reaction is so sad! I’m curious what will happen next with Xaden but my guess is he will be drawn more and more into the darkness and that is how the fourth book will end. The fifth will be the final defeat of the venin and curing Xaden somehow but that is just my guess!
