Prodigal Summer by Barbara Kingsolver
4.0

This was much better than Animal, Vegetable, Miracle. This book was farm-based fiction: stories set in Appalachia that ultimately link to each other. I liked some better than others but overall I did enjoy it. I like the earthiness of Kingsolver's writing; you can feel the soil, the sun, the dampness of the woods.
