A great conclusion to a wonderful duology! This book had a little less typing and more action and plot than the first book, so the vibes are slightly different, but I still enjoyed it. Maybe could’ve had a tiny bit more character development between the main characters and their families and friends, but that would’ve been icing on an already good book.
I’m all for a cute romance and that was there for sure, but I did also really enjoy the added background for the gods and goddesses. Though this inclusion did push our main character from minor bystanders of the war into major players, which some may not like, but I was alright with.
My biggest fault with this book was that it didn’t hit as good as the first one for me, but like, it’s still the Ryan Locte to divine rivals Michael Phelps. I.E. still great. Overall, great series and a new favorite!
