Stolen Innocence: My Story of Growing Up in a Polygamous Sect, Becoming a Teenage Bride, and Breaking Free of Warren Jeffs by Elissa Wall

3.0

Elissa for the most part has lead a pretty tramatic life, just hearing about her story is heartbreaking. I fully believe that she was raped and forced into a marriage at a young age, however so often throughout the book she seems to be defending herself. WHICH can be pretty damn annoying. I don't want to read someone defending themselves, I want the story.

I'd suggest anyone pick up a copy. The begining was long and drawn out while the end was a snap of the fingers and done but still it's worth a read.
