November 9 by Colleen Hoover

4.0

Fallon meets Ben, an aspiring novelist, the day before her scheduled cross-country move. Their untimely attraction leads them to spend Fallon’s last day in L.A. together, and her eventful life becomes the creative inspiration Ben has always sought for his novel.
Over time and amidst the various relationships and tribulations of their own separate lives, they continue to meet on the same date every year - November 9.
Until one day Fallon becomes unsure if Ben has been telling her the truth or fabricating a perfect reality for the sake of the ultimate plot twist.
Can Ben’s relationship with Fallon—and simultaneously his novel—be considered a love story if it ends in heartbreak?

The entirety of this novel takes place on the date November 9, across 6 different years. Personally, I love books that take place over a period of time, because it makes the novel feel more fast-paced.
This book was an emotional rollercoaster, and I was engaged right from the beginning. I know I can always count on the author Colleen Hoover to never disappoint, especially with romance fueled books. I feel like this was a book that was executed amazingly, with different point of views throughout the different years.
To be complretly honest, I did not love the characters as much as I thought I would. They were well developed and lovable, but I didn't seem to connect with them as I thought I would. I think this is because of how short this book was to me. It was about 250 pages, and I zoomed through it.
Nevertheless, 'November 9' is that kind of amazing book you need to experience for yourself, so I’m not going to give anything else away. I recommend this book to romance novel lovers and those who are in need of a quick read!
