A Doll's House by Henrik Ibsen
2.0
I've got to be honest; this was so dry. None of the characters were likeable, and perhaps it was just the translation I read, but the dialogue was so unnatural. I appreciate that this play would have been different, potentially even shocking to the audience of the time, as it does show women in a now more modern way. But I just didn't feel like I was supposed to be there, like this play was not written for me. I haven't seen it performed, so perhaps if I do I'll appreciate it more. For now though, I am just not a fan.
