A Banquet of Consequences by Elizabeth George

5.0

I read it all in one day. I couldn't put it down. The resolution to the crimes felt slightly like an afterthought, and it who I predicted, though not how, but there was a lot else to wrap up, and over all, it was satisfying, though I'd have made a different choice than one of the characters.

I'd happily assign 4.5 stars. That's a 90 in school, seems fair. It left me wanting still more from Lynley and Barbara, though her inability to understand other people don't view sex only as an unpleasant euphemism did begin to wear on me. I liked the horizon-broadening idea at the end.
