Under Loch and Key by Lana Ferguson
4.25⭐️
The extra .75 would have come from three things:
• One - Seeing Keyanna and Lachlan marry
• Two - Seeing either the whole pregnancy or just the birth of their child
• Three - Seeing the reunion of Lachlan’s father with his mother
Other than those three things which for me and my own personal reading taste, which would have made it a solid 5⭐️ read, I’m chuffed with my first read and introduction to Lana Ferguson.
Her writing was really easy to read, flowed well and had the right amount of whit, banter and snark that this story needed for the setup of its two main characters—before they fell in love with one another.
I’ve already pre-ordered the FairyLoot edition of this book, which happens to be my first from them, where I will proudly dive back into Keyanna & Lachlan’s story once more. There’s no going just one round with these two, as I’m fully intending to go back in for more.
Crossing my fingers for a return to Greerloch. We definitely need more magical adventures in this wee town.
