Really interesting collection of poems which I finished reading in a day.
I don't usually read poetry, but I'm glad I read this: my eyes were opened to the author's life and experiences so different to my own. I didn't feel a connection to some poems but that is always inevitable as poetry is so personal. Other poems I had to put the book down to reflect upon and absorb they were so powerful.
I would recommend to anyone who doesn't usually read poetry but is interested in broadening their literary horizons.
