I wasn’t sure about this book at first. It was slow and she kept alternating between her life history and the now. But as I got further in, I found myself invested in her and the ghosts in the manor. Wondering to myself about their deaths and the strange basement.

I’m glad I stuck with it, the ending was really good and almost had me too.
I thought it was funny how they all just told the big bad ghost guy to GET OUT… I would have sworn they’d need at least a crucifix for that.
Not a 5 star read, but not a bad read either. I enjoyed my time with this book and if you like spooky books about haunted houses I think you’d like this book.
