On a recommendation from a friend (thanks Jamie), I grabbed this audiobook from the library. I had previously read and enjoyed Twenty Years Later from this author. From the first chapter I was sucked into the plot about the sole teen survivor of her family's massacre. As Alex tries to solve the mystery of who killed her family, she also works to seek justice for others who may be falsely accused as she was.
About halfway through this, a bunch of new scenarios and characters were introduced. It totally threw me off. I was lost until I realized they must all tie in somehow. The payoff in the end was well worth that tiny bit of confusion. Wow. I really loved this one!
