Did not finish book. Stopped at 75%.

I kept pushing through because I do hope the best for the characters but I also just don’t care? I feel like I couldn’t really connect with the characters and I didn’t feel the connection between the characters either. I felt pretty surface level. Which is strange since the characters are dealing by with deeper issues. I am in a heavy reading slump, though, so that could also be the issue. Maybe next year! I def wanted something more Christmas-y and this had a lot of potential but Christmas vibes are barely a touch to the story. My mind is on other books right now for the season and won’t write off finishing or re-reading another year.
