I remember everyone always talking about this book back in the day so I had it on my want to read list forever…but now that I’ve read it I’m just like why.
Let me start out by saying I did like the setting of the book. And there was one character I liked but she was like a side character.
Idk if it was the religious aspect of the book with the god stones and all that talk that I didn’t vibe with or if I thought it was just too slow building up but I did not care, towards the end it got a little interesting but I was already too far gone. And everyone including the main character would go on about how fat she was and I’m still not even sure if she was a curvy girl cause she got kidnapped for a bit (and joined like a rebellion) and when she came back to the kingdom she was “slim and taunt” and I was like girl you weren’t gone that long. Idk me and the book just did not vibe.
