Laura Lake and the Hipster Weddings by Wendy Holden

2.0

Even after finishing this book, I can't tell whether this is purposefully tongue in cheek, was made as ridiculous as possible because the author hates herself for writing it, or is seriously written and just plain vapid. The characters all seem like caricatures: none, not even Laura, with any real depth whatsoever. The plot seems the only real driver in this book - and it's a good thing that the plot was the most interesting part. After all, who doesn't love the drama of a jewellery thief terrorising society weddings?

That said, a fun but in no way memorable read.
