I reread this in 2025 after initially reading it back in 2019 or 2020. It was a lot of contemplative and unnerving than I remembered, which was a treat! I remember watching the Alex Garland film and just not liking it at all due to how different it is from the book, so I might rewatch that and see how I feel about it now.
