A fantastic end to the Halfling Saga. Although this book wasn’t a 5 stars for me, it was still an amazing book and wrap up of all the plot lines, keeping me on the edge of my seat to the very end. Keera’s journey culminated in a way that I found very satisfying to see her blossom in her new powers, worrying over being a good leader, and learning to trust and forgive Riven after the end of the third book. All of our favorite side characters also had great endings, if sad, but it was reasonable and not just shock value bad stuff that happened. I don’t think anyone was overlooked, each character had time and space for their final arcs. The magic depictions were stunning, as always, and the battle scenes were really well done. I am so glad I finished this series and would absolutely recommend it to others.
