An extremely vital work to read for anyone interested in protoabolitionist movements. The text itself is quite dense and borderline undecipherable without footnotes, despite some really good writing in places. And yes, it is extremely racist by modern standards, but given that it was written in the late 17th Century you've gotta at least give Behn some credit for trying.
