Mills is an artist, and she is amazing at it. When girls around her town start dying she wants to help give them a voice. She doesn't know how to help or how they are connected so she does the only thing she knows how...she paints. Can she figure out what is going on before more girls start to die?

This book was definitely different from any other book I've ever read! While I can't relate to Mills at all (I have NO artistic bone in my body), I thought she was a good character. She found her calling in life and knew who she was. She also stood up for the people who couldn't stand up for themselves.

The book didn't feel like a thriller to me, it seemed more like a YA mystery. I figured out who the killer was early on in the book, but I still wanted to know how it panned out. However, I thought the writing was great!
