Paper Girls, Vol. 1 by Brian K. Vaughan

2.0

Looks are deceiving. The cover of this book is eye-catching. It damn near grabbed me and said, "Read me." I felt this just had to be a winner....Nope. The only thing I liked was the illustrations and choice of colors. The story is strange and not in an interesting kind of way, but more so in a "what the hell am I reading" way. Nonetheless, I kept trucking along and then....*the sound of a scratched record*...an intriguing cliffhanger appears. Hmm. I guess on to the second installment I go. Hopefully, the story improves.
