Review:
Though I rated this book 5 stars, I have to say I do not agree with the authors point of view on the death penalty. Especially when they’re convicted with evidence. If they got life in prison, taxpayer dollars are used to house them, feed them, clothe them. Many of those who are serving life sentences are a drain in our society where the middle class is going extinct. Some crimes are bad enough to deserve death, such as rape, murder, or anyone who harms children in anyway. I cried for Julie and Robin, as well as for their family, who will have to mourn these girls for the rest of their lives. There are times when the death penalty is acceptable. It is time to stop treating monsters as humans. They don’t treat their victims as such, so why do they deserve anything less than riding the world of their evil. On top of that, population control is a serious conversation to have in our ever rising numbers of human beings.
