people we meet on vacation is my new comfort read.
now, when i usually say comfort read comfort book they are usually for specific purposes! like sad comfort book, happy comfort book, smutty comfort book, etc.
but people we meet on vacation is now my ultimate comfort book. this is going to be the book i turn to whenever something in my life goes wrong. this is my FIRST EVER book i annotated and i ran out of tabs that should tell you how much i loved and adored this book.
friends to lovers is just the most feel good trope on the planet. this book is pure happiness and serotonin in a book!!!!! <3333
i do think that because i read this book over the span for one week it definitely took away from the overall flow of the plot and story, but that is definitely my fault. i think when i reread it i will love it more and more.
emily henry's writing fuels and gives me life. just the way she writes speaks to my soul!!!!!!!
poppy and alex's song is invisible string. two people who are so different but make it work because they love each other!

i LOVED how this book wasn't just a love story, but also showed poppy and figuring out what she wanted in life and just <3 there was little to no angst, and steam, this is just an absolute happy spell of a book.
