A stempunk adventure story following the crew of the Ketty Jay.
If you liked the TV show Firefly then I think you would like this. The captain of the Ketty Jay is a bit more unlikable at the beginning of the story than Mal Reynolds is (who has so much charm, thinks he's a bad guy but will ultimately protect his crew without question and do the right thing) but this character has an interesting arc in the first book of the series where you can see how he changes for the better as he realizes what his actions have brought on his crew.
Every character starts as a mystery but we find out more about them and see more of them chage for the better as the story goes on.
The story is filled with political intrigue, aerial fights and secret pirate cities.
It is an fun adventure story and I'm looking forward to the sequels.
