A Quiet Kind of Thunder by Sara Barnard

5.0

I finished this book and threw it at my psychologist and yelled "THIS IS ME!!"

As someone who sufferes from selective mutism disorder due to extreme social phobia, I found this book really relatable and theropic. At times it felt like I was reading passages from my mind. It depicts the struggles assossicated with the agony that happens when anxiety takes hostage of your voice, and I personally want to thank the author for creating such an amazing book that I NEEDED to read.
I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED IT SO MUCH.
