A Bookshop in Berlin: The Rediscovered Memoir of One Woman's Harrowing Escape from the Nazis by Françoise Frenkel

inspiring sad slow-paced

4.0

I've read many Holocaust books. None was like this. The author left behind her French bookstore in Berlin and hid from the Nazis in France for years. One doesn't think of the evils of Vichy France until one is reminded.
