April Lady by Georgette Heyer

5.0

I’d like to thank the publishers and netgalley for an audio arc of this in exchange of an honest review.

Until recently I’d never heard of georgette heyer, but it was entirely through chance I stumbled across her first novel, the black month. Remembering the name, I then had to request this when I saw it hoping to try out some delicious regency novels.

I wasn’t disappointed, this story is charming and heartwarming and absolutely hilarious.
There’s nothing more I can say because it’s really just lovely. Perhaps if you’re unfamiliar with the uk and regency period some stuff may be a trifle confusing but overall it’s a wonderful tale.

I highly recommend, especially with this narrator who was utterly delightful and perfect.
