This was an eye opening story of disordered eating, mixed with grief.
I was hard to read about Val and her mum's relationship, which was made uncomfortable over the discussion of food and felt so much empathy for Val going through it alone.
It had hope at the end of it though, which was inspiring.
The art was beautiful. I loved the soft pink and blue palette of it. It complemented the story nicely.
