I’ve basically been waiting for this book since I discovered it at the start of this year! I was even close to buying it but didn’t buy it, lol.
But anyways! I loved the first volume ! I’m super intrigued and want to know more about some of characters!
As one of the YTuber’s, who recommended this manga said, it is similar to Romeo and Juliet, especially in terms of the rivaling clans, which in this story is rival schools ( love this take on the concept!)
Kaoruko and Rintaro are really likable characters! I just love the fact that Kaoruko’s favorite thing in this world is food and she loves to eat!
However I think the reason I gave this books less than four stars is because of the text being confusing at times. I wasn’t able to say who was speaking or talking in some scenarios ( I’m not sure if this was because there were too many people talking at once or if it was bc the words were in different fonts). I was able to figure out the story or the scenes for the most part, as I could interpret who might have spoken( or I just guessed), but I wish it was more clearer to differentiate who spoke. But I do appreciate the translation notes at the end!
Overall a good start! Can’t wait to read vol.2!
