I picked this book up on a whim since I’ve been trying to lower my amount of unread kindle books and this was one of the firsts I’ve ever bought, and has been sitting there for over a year now. I loved the premise of the book and dear god did I love the mc’s. From beginning to end there has been nothing but spice and the build up of fluff considering the dynamic of the relationship was adorable. I like that they used their “pillow talk” time to get to know each other better and genuinely become friends before falling in love. Ofc the love was mutual and hidden bc they were scared of where the relationship they had would go and if it would end badly considering neither of them have ever been in meaningful and loving relationships.

The mmc was the best bc whenever the fmc would second guess herself or think badly of herself in his presence he would shut that shit down rq and reassure her just how valuable and amazing she is. Same goes for the fmc always caring for mmc’s needs and wants, since his line of work usually makes them a second priority to his other clients. She’s always talk him out of his self deprecating headspace and remind him that he was worth loving and she’d be there to prove it to him.
