The Last One at the Wedding
by Jason Rekulak
This book kept me interested but I didn’t really like it overall. I wasn’t shocked by much, and the few things that caught me off guard just didn’t have a huge impact. Still giving it a 4 though because I wanted to keep reading.
It took a while for the tension to develop, the beginning felt dragged out to the point where I asked myself “what is the plot?” and “where is the thing I should be questioning?”
None of their characters were likeable, so there was no one I wanted to root for. Unfortunately, Frank was the most unlikable of the group and he is the narrator.
Again, Rekulak makes J.K.R references and I just don’t understand! Please, leave her and HP references out of books.
