Not Our Kind by Kitty Zeldis

3.0

This was a unique historical fiction book since it was set in the post-WWII era. Eleanor and Patricia are so real... they're likeable at times, and at times you're like "what the heck are you doing?!?" This book made me sad for the prejudice that exists on so many levels in our country. I rated it a little lower because some of it felt a little YA-novel ish and other times adult themes just wrapped up neatly with little to no explanation.
