This book is a heartwarming tale about a fabulously gay first grade teacher and a veteran custodian. Sheldon transfers to a new school right after Thanksgiving and meets Theo a very quiet bear of a man who helps him to set up his new classroom. They develop and unlikely friendship. Sheldon was recently invited to his exes wedding on Christmas Eve and Theo needs a fake boyfriend to get his parents off his back about being single that they are going to get a matchmaker for him, and he needs someone for hanakah. Both need a date and they end up deciding to fake date but develop feeling for one another.
I really enjoyed the way they handled Theo's PTSD with the fire alarm and thought it was handles really well. This is the second book in the series and I enjoyed the cameo by Marvin Block and Olan in the book. Can't wait to read the next one.
