Reading this book was such an experience and journey. I'm not usually someone who enjoys books that focus more on the journey and have less plot, but I just loved this so much. The way the story unfolded and how we got to know each character was just done so well.

This book makes me wish the rest of the world was like it, for the most part the crew had so much respect and understanding for everyone else and their backstories and truly cared about them all. I wish we as humans also had the same respect for those different from us.

I just had all the feels while reading this. I went from laughing, to crying to being engulfed with rage (I'm looking at you Corbin).

My only criticism/ the only thing that didn't sit right with me was the incident with Corbin at the end.

I hated how the rest of the crew and Ohan didn't react or even discuss Corbin going against Ohan's wishes and their culture to inject them with that cure. It was non-consensual and such a breach of Ohan's trust. I really wish there had been a full chapter to discuss what had happened and those ramifications. As happy as I am that Ohan will be around longer, I still can't get past how it came about.
