I thoroughly enjoyed the adventures of Simeon and Myrtle. Her boldness is a delightful surprise. Their instant ease and camaraderie set the tone for a pleasant story. It is told with light humour, easy friendship and toasty chemistry. Their lightness of their relationship is the true beauty of the story. Even intimate time is cast with the humour of a settled close couple. I loved that!
The brotherhood of the bastard 5 is the glue that holds it all together. Without these brothers none of the matches in this series would have happened. In true idiotic male fashion, Simeon is blind to how things don’t go right. But his friends come together to shine a spotlight on his misunderstanding so he can make I right.
Myrtle’s surprise supports was so heartwarming, I did not expect it all but in true spirit of this series. I simply love the bonds of friendship, family and love created here. A great read and I can’t wait for more in this series.
