Review:

Not the best in the series, but still fun

Review previously placed on my blog:

I'm currently reading The icebound lands by John Flanagan. This is the third book in the Ranger's apprentice series. This is my second time reading this series. I'm reading this for the Magical Readathon for Bog Cataloguer with the prompt: read a book by the water or a book that has a body of water on the cover. This is a young adult fantasy book series.

Liking it so far, but I know that this one and the next one were my least favorites of the series. I can see why. There isn't a lot happening with Will and a certain character is pretty annoying. My favorite parts are with Halt. Hope I will give it a better rating than the first time, which was 3 stars.

This is indeed my least favorite of the series (probably, haven't reread the rest of course). There is a certain element in this book I really dislike and I find it a bit of a weird choice from the author. I also disliked that we didn't get a certain POV in this book. But didn't have the feeling of ever wanting to put it down, so therefore 3,5 stars instead of the original 3 stars.
